After working on numerous projects with SVdP, Lisa saw first-hand the incredible need that they work diligently to fulfill. Seeing the dedication and hard work the staff put into serving others in the community was inspiring and solidified her commitment to their endeavor.
SVdP believes in the intrinsic value of every person—to serve and be served. Their goal is to foster the common ground of humanity to bring wholeness and healing for all.
"The Society of St. Vincent de Paul harnesses the power of community and partnerships to feed, clothe, house and heal individuals and families in our community who have nowhere else to turn for help. As important, SVdP provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion."
"A Home of Hope for Children" is a non-governmental, non-profit home providing safe housing and care for children in need, located just outside Puerto Peñasco, MX. Founded nearly 40 years ago by an American missionary, the home has continued to grow and expand its impact.

Stardust's mission is driven by a vision of a green future without waste; a sustainable community where salvaged resources are reused or redistributed.
For the past 25 years, they have rallied behind reducing landfill waste, providing quality reclaimed materials to thousands of customers and diverting more than 80 million pounds of usable materials from piling up in landfills.
Whenever possible, Lisa has items from remodel projects donated so they can have a new life.
